To my watchers, I'm moving to another account, so if you'd like, you're free to add me there and delete this one from your list. c:
I won't be adding anything for a while unfortunately, at least not any cosplay photos except for Hiccup pictures (since my school is a good place for photoshoots on account of so much forestry).

The new account is Wizardlywolf

After much talking over and asking and pestering, some of my friends and I are officially going to Metrocon, yay! Though I'm only sure that me and my buddy are going, we're still going to try and get my friend and a mutual to go the best we can. All thanks to finding a really cheap and good quality hotel five miles from the convention center, the only hassle is that we'll have to be driving back and forth a lot. But our ride doesn't mind, thank goodness. <3

I'm definately having a lot to look forward to the next couple of months. In February, not only will I be going to Key West with my family for the first time ever, but on the 24th until March I will also be going to Cuba for a college course I'm taking. I get along with everyone in the class and it's really small, and the fact that I'm finally stepping foot out of the country is both very exciting and a bit nerve-racking. I'll also be going to Florida Supercon and Mizucon (did you hear? Mizucon is going to be at the Doubletree this year- too bad, the harbor was nice for photo shoots), and might even plan a trip to go to Disney with my mom. AND I'll be turning 21 FINALLY.

*ahem*

Otherwise I have a couple of updates on my cosplay list. I've added Tai Kamiya and Wizardmon from Digimon Adventure 01. I will be working on Tai's costume right away starting next week when I've got the money to buy the fabric and materials. For this cosplay I will also be making my first Koromon plush, and it's gonna be a big one. <3 I might have to hold off on Wizardmon for a while since I will be having almost little to no help making his body suit and I'm hardly experienced at sewing. I'm pretty sure I can make his hat and gloves, and perhaps the cape and scarf, but the suit? Oh Lord, that's going to be hard especially since it will be a one shot deal. I will have to buy a LOT of fabric and make sure to get everything right the first time, which for me is difficult since I'm so large-bodied. If anybody thinks they might be able to help, please please comment!

Lastly, I'm thinking of selling my Riku wig. It's relatively accurate to the character in Kingdom Hearts 2 in terms of length and color, unfortunately the ends have the slightest bit of curl in them because of trimming but can easily be spiked using got2be or something like it. I wouldn't recommend ironing it - when I bought it from Cosworx they said it was heat resistant synthetic fiber, but when I got an iron close to it the fibers crunched up and flattened again later. I'll also be selling some other stuff later and posting pictures of random things I've made.

SO SO EXCITED

2 min read
I hate that song, but the title is appropriate.

So it's been confirmed that members of Parle Productions will be going to Metrocon 2012 with whole new cosplays and panels to boot. That being said it's a very high chance I will also be going with my friends, as soon as we get confirmation from who can go and who can't... We need a pretty big group to be able to go, since the hotel we want to get into this time is so expensive and the more people we have, the less each of us has to pay, which means the quicker we can get the money, WHICH ALSO MEANS the better chance we have of actually getting a room. D8 Which is all essential because last year, no kidding, the Embassy had no more rooms available at about March. Not to mention, gas prices are still pretty high and Tampa is a long trip from Miami.

But I'm so excitedddddd. Last year Metrocon was so much fun! The people were amazing, I couldn't complain about the panels, and the dealer's room. OH MY GOD THE DEALER'S ROOM. It was the biggest dealer's room I've ever been to and the artists alley was huuuuge. The Metro Rave was pretty awesome and I have a lot more to look forward to this year, especially since I'll probably able to go with my bestest cosplay buddies. Whether or not it's a 100% is still up in the air though, but I can't stop thinking about it. Heck, I'm already thinking of my cosplay line-up for next year. That's awful. D8

Anywhoo, yeah. This was my pointless journal rant. .____.

Metrocon 2011

All right yo, so Metrocon was AMAZING!

I went with two of my buddies and we drove up to Tampa for the whole three days. Unfortunately we couldn't get a room in the Embassy but stayed at the Westin, which was still pretty cool.

Metrocon itself was pretty darn amazing and by far one of the largest one's I've been to, and the prettiest (doooocks. doooockkks.) Friday I went as Magikarp, a costume I literally started and finished in the last two nights before Metrocon. Not many took pictures, but I'm still really proud of it since it came out so well and a lot of people did like it~ I got tons of attention to considering at least 30% of the people there were dressed as Pokemon or pokemon trainers. xD Most of what I got was:

"Magikarp, use splash!" x 1000 times. xD
"Magikarp, evolve!"
"Magikarp, when are you going to evolve?"
"Give magikarp an ever stone! DON'T LET IT EVOLVE!"

One person actually threw a (water) pokeball at me, but I was already claimed as captured by my Demyx. xP Cause everybody knows that Demyx and Magikarp are totally destined for eachother. And the cutest N I've ever seen made my day; they said Magikarp was their favorite pokemon and basically just upped my ego with their nice words~ that N was really sweet too. <3 Otherwise on Friday I ended up buying a Marluxia wig (YESSS) from the Five Wits, went to the Marauder's panel by Parle Productios and my friends and I went to the Club Metro Rave which was awesommmme. We jumped and waved our glowy-stick selves and participated in a total of four strangely fast and rushing conga lines that were slow one second and running through the crowds the next. >3>

Saturday I dressed as Reno and ended up buying a new wig for him so I could retire my old one considering the bases wouldn't stop being flimsy and the tips are getting as hard as rocks. u_u I can't re-style it. I premiered new ACTUAL goggles I bought for him to and my friend and I went to the new Demyx Time panel which was as amazing as the day before~ and got the first EVER preview of Demyx Time no. 15. We also went to some other panels, spent some more time in the Dealer Room spending our moneys, took pictures, forgot to go to the Fire Show, and didn't quite go to the Blackout Rave but we still had fun with eachother. We also spent some time on the docks and in the Embassy for photoshoots for Reno and Alois Trancy, and I spent a little bit of my time fearing for my life on that rickety bridge they had to get close to the water. >___.

Friday was pretty uneventful but terribly fun. We spent most of the time we had left there waiting in the front of the line for the Demyx time panel, the last one we would go to before we left (and had to leave early). I have to say the best part is the waiting in line. I met an awesome Riku I spent my time with that I met in the Dearler's Room by the wig stand, and my Demyx got to meet the Zexion that totally rapedimeanpickedherupandhumped her the night before. :3 We made a bunch of friends there basically, then had to sneak our way out of the panel to go home. But it was so much funnnn~ then considering it was Father's day, I just spent some time with my dad and gave him presents as soon as we got home. So happy I got to go with my friends especially, AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE and hopefully I get to go next year againnnnn. -dies-

Since I've seen so many people do it, I finally decided to make a list of all the cosplays I have and the ones I wish to make or purchase some time in the future, even if I honestly have NO IDEA how I'll manage to make any of them a reality.

Nothing on this list is in any particular order.

Have finished;

Reno (Final Fantasy VII)
Street! Riku (Kindgom Hearts II)
Deep Dive Riku (Kingdom Hearts II)
Magikarp (Pokemon)
Wartortle (Pokemon)
Marluxia (KH II)
Hoenn/ Advanced Battle Ash Ketchum (Pokemon)
Riku's dad (The Sora Show/ Youtube)
Xion (Kingdom Hearts: Days)
Grell Sutcliff (Kuroshitsuji)
Syaoran Li (Cardcaptors)
Psyduck (Pokemon)

Waiting to compete

Saix (KH II)
Ryuji "Bon" Suguro (Ao no Exorcist)

Future cosplays I hope to do:
Orko (He-Man: Masters of the Universe, 2002 render) --- possible. I will defiantely be making this myself though
